Kinsinger. Mrs. Kinsinger died very suddenly about 9:30 Monday morning, April 1. She appeared to be in excellent health. She attended church services Sunday, chatting with her friends and seemed to feel exceptionally well Sunday evening. Upon arising Monday morning, however, Mrs. Kinsinger complained of feeling faint. A few minutes later she suffered a stroke and died soon afterward. Mrs. Kinsinger was born near Bittinger, Dec. 29, 1873, and was aged 66 years, 3 months and 2 days. She was the former Etta Catharine Brenneman, daughter of Daniel and Marian Brenneman, natives of this county, and lived here all of her life. She married Jacob L. Kinsinger April 18, 1897 and for many years they have successfully operated a large farm a few miles south of here. They have long been considered among the most substantial people in the community. A woman of exceptional character, Mrs. Kinsinger made many friends and possessed the faculty of keeping them. She was well known and highly respected in both this and neighboring communities. For many years she has been a faithful and devout member of the Casselman Mennonite Church, taking an active interest in the work. In her passing Mrs. Kinsinger leaves her bereaved husband, who, himself, has been quite ill for about a month, and the following children: Daniel Kinsinger, Clarence Kinsinger, and Lester Kinsinger, Canton, O., Elmer Kinsinger, Confluence, Pa., Mrs. Bruce Folk and Mrs. Daniel Folk, Grantsville, and Orville Kinsinger, at home. One sister, Mrs. Milton W. Kinsinger, Grantsville, one brother, Harvey Brenneman, Friendsville, and twenty-six grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted at the Casselman church Wednesday afternoon. Meyersdale Republican, April 4, 1940
