(Hershberger) Kinsinger, 66, of Garrett Highway, Oakland, Md., passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21, 1999, at her home. Born on July 19, 1932, in Kalona, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Helmuth) Hershberger. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Josiah Byler. She received Christ as her Savior in her youth and has been a faithful member of the Mt. View Christian Fellowship, Salisbury, since 1979. On Sept. 30, 1958, she was married to Jonas Kinsinger of Meyersdale, and later they moved to Oakland. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons: Homer Kinsinger and wife Sadie (Peachey), Oakland; Tobie Kinsinger and wife Verda (Miller), Oakland; Eli Kinsinger and wife Ruth (Zook), Mayfield, Ky., and Ivan Kinsinger, at home; one daughter, Rhonda Byler and husband Enos, Madison, N.Y.; two sisters: Lois Brenneman and Katie Hershberger, both of Kalona, Iowa; four brothers: Reuben Hershberger, Sheridan, Ore.; Tobie Hershberger, Bloomfield, Iowa; Isaac Hershberger, Kalona, Iowa, and Henry Hershberger, Nappanee, Ind., and 15 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Pleasant Valley Community Building, Oakland, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the Mt. View Christian Fellowship, Salisbury, with Bishop Jerry Yoder officiating. Interment, Mt. View Fellowship Cemetery.
