Kinsinger, 74, who had been in ill health for four years was drowned last Friday morning, in the Casselman River, a few miles south of Grantsville, Md. His dead body was found at 7:30 a.m., in the river by his son-in-law, Bruce Folk with whom he had made his home since the death of his wife, (Etta Catherine Brenneman) April 1, 1940. Dr. E. I. Baumgartner of Oakland, Md., county coroner, after investigation, pronounced his death accidental. Apparently he had risen early before the rest of the family was up and gone for a walk along the river bank from which he fell into the water. He had made his bed and tidied up his room before he went out. He was a retired farmer and had been a deacon of the Mennonite Church for 45 years at Casselman. He also served as superintendent of the Sunday School and as a bible class teacher. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Bruce Folk, Mrs. Dan Folk, Orville Kinsinger, Casselman, Md.; Dan, Clarence and Lester Kinsinger, Canton, O., and Elmer Kinsinger, Confluence, Pa.; 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday in the Casselman Mennonite Church at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Roy Kinsinger officiated and was assisted by Rev. Milton B. Miller, Rev. James Saylor and Rev. Chester Helmic. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. Olen Bender, Mrs. Mark Bender, Alvie Yoder and Walter Otto. The pallbearers were Ressley Tressler, Sherman Tressler, Elmer Miller, Roy Otto, Myron Livengood and Isaac Metzler. Clarence Kinsinger and children, Clarence Jr., and Zella Mae; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kinsinger and daughters, Helen and Doris; Mr. and Mrs. Manon Decker, Guy Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kinsinger, all of Canton, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kinsinger, Confluence, Pa.; Aubrey Brenneman, Friendsville, Md.; Mrs. George Brenneman, Kingmont, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Myron Livengood and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Helmic, Pinto, Md.; Robert Dayton, Ridgeley, W.Va.; Mrs. Frank Bennett, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Walter Price, Breezewood, Pa.; and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Fearer, Markleysburg, Pa., attended the funeral of Mr. Kinsinger.
