  KISTER
  
  Clifford J. Kister, 89, of Shanksville Road, Berlin, died June 9,
  1999, at Somerset Hospital.  Born July 14, 1909, on Somerset, RD 7. 
  Son of the late Charles and Sarah (Landis) Kister.  Preceded in death
  by wife, the former Ruth Garletts, in 1976; brothers Clyde and Warren
  Kister and sister in infancy.  Survived by sons: Clifford Kister Jr.,
  Shanksville Road, Berlin, and Merlin Kister, Lancaster; 6
  grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Oran Kister and
  Louella Hoover, both of Somerset.  Retired from H.W. Walker Co.,
  Somerset.  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren and Roxbury
  Mountain Field and Stream Club.  Friends will be received 1 hour
  prior to funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Miller Funeral
  Home, Somerset, Rev. Dottie Steel.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
