Born Jan. 10, 1911 in Lincoln Twp., daughter of the late Alvin J. and Minnie (Burner) Ogline. Also preceded in death by husband, Clyde A. Kister, who died March 3, 1991, sons, Barry and Lowell Kister, sisters Kathryn Ogline, Fern Ogline and Velma Walsh and son-in-law Franklin Wagner. Survived by daughter, Louise Wagner of Salisbury, and son, Allan Kister, married to the former Carol Craig of Friedens; grandchildren, Barry Kister and Dustin Kister, married to the former Beth Carroll Kister, Sarah Wagner and Amy Eisler; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Fox of New Oxford, and Helen Hoover, of State College. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church. A graduate of Harrisonburg State Teachers College, Harrisonburg, Va. in 1932. Taught in the Somerset Area School District and was formerly the owner and operator of Kister's Lakeside Motel for 20 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Viewing from 10 a.m. Tuesday, until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church with Pastor, Dennis Doebler officiating. Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.
