  MRS. RUTH KISTER
  
    Mrs. Ruth Kister, 61, of Berlin RD 1, died Jan. 7 at her
  residence.  She was born April 5, 1914, in Acosta, daughter of the
  late Russell and Matilda Schmucker Garletts and was preceded in death
  by a brother Harold and a sister Merla Barron.  She is survived by her
  husband Clifford J.; two sons Clifford J. Jr., of Berlin RD 1 and
  Merlin of Philadelphia; and six grandchildren.
    She was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren.
    Services were conducted Jan. 10 at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, with the Rev. Paul R. White officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
