Born Jan. 25, 1917 in Somerset Township, a son of Charles I. and Mary E. King Klein, who reside at Somerset RD 1. Preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Surviving besides his parents are three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Pauline) Davis of Somerset; Mrs. Palmer (Martha) Walters of Somerset RD 6; Mrs. William (Helen) Reedy of Somerset; two brothers, Harry of Somerset and Walter of Somerset RD 1. Member of First United Methodist Church of Somerset; FOE, Somerset; Veteran of World War II, served with U.S. Army and was a prisoner of war 27 months. Employed by GM & W Coal Co. of Jennerstown. Friends were received in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service was conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Lash officiating.
