  KLEIN
  
  James J. Klein, 83, Carolina Shores Drive, Carolina Shores, N.C.,
  died April 3, 2002, at his residence.  He was born Feb. 20, 1919, in
  Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Clara Bittner Klein.  He was
  a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in 1941.  In 1969, he
  received his doctorate in psychology.  He is preceded in death by a
  sister, Ruth Wilson.  Mr. Klein is survived by his wife of 36 years,
  Patricia Redrick Klein; and one daughter, Bonnee Klein Gilligan of
  Arizona.  He was a U.S. Naval officer during World War II.  He
  retired from IU 8, Somerset, as a child psychologist.  No services
  will be conducted as requested by the decedent.  Mr. Klein was a good
  Christian father, husband, neighbor and all around good person, also a
  very good and avid golfer.  Brunswick Funeral Service and Crematory of
  Shallotte, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
