Klesyk, 70, Johnstown RD 4, formerly of Hollsopple, died May 18, 1989, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born Jan. 9, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Louis and Eva (Webb) Kegg. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Steve J., who died Nov. 1, 1987, granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Granda, sisters: Ida and Evelyn, brothers: Charles and Harry, and son-in-law, Robert L. Brutts. Survived by daughters: Evalene, wife of Albert Lasher, Kittanning; Pauline Bruits and dear friend William Lawrence, Collegeville, Pa.; and Vivlenne ("Kitty"), wife of Thomas Granda, Johnstown; grandchildren: Steven, Robert, Lisa, Patrick, Stacy and Tricia; and great-grandchildren: Steven, Crystal, Ryan and Jessica. Sister of: Frank, Philadelphia; and Harriet, Ohio. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Hollsopple. She helped start the Head Start in Hollsopple, associated with Tableland, Somerset County, and Hollsopple Community Center. She was Democratic committeewoman for 30 years, formerly employed by Best Form in Windber, and the Hollsopple Post Office. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville, where wake will be said at 3 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Conrad Salack, O.F.M. Conv. officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Daily American, May 20, 1989 [K0755]
