"Poopie" (Suboleski) Klimek, 82, of Hollsopple, died Jan. 18, 2003 at her home. Born Oct. 3, 1920 in Utica, N.Y. daughter of Leon and Catherine (Heilo) Suboleski. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 47 years Andrew M., Nov. 15, 2002, brothers Stanley and Joseph Suboleski and sister Blanche Santichen. Survived by these children: Dianne, married to William Blair of Johnstown, Michelle, married to Bradley Callihan, Hooversville, Anthony, married to former Jan Tomaszewski, Cincinnati, Ohio, and John, married to former Ruth Bosetti of Oakdale; grandchildren: Megan Blair, Michael, Andrew, Jennifer, Olivia, David, Richie, Sarah, and Gracie Klimek and Isaac Callihan. Sister of Mary Pribozie of Portage, Julia Smith Arlington, Va., John Suboleski, Johnstown, and Kathryn, married to William Koplin, Johnstown. Also survived by many special in-laws, friends and neighbors. She was a cook and waitress at the former Royal Hotel Johnstown. A member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, and the former Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking her famous polish dishes for all those who came to visit. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Monday.
