KLINGELHOFER Beulah Gertrude Klingelhofer, 78, of 242 Broadway, Meyersdale, died July 31, 1974, in Meyersdale Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for a day and a half. She was born Dec. 10, 1895, the daughter of the late William J. and Lulu (Keppel) Carothers. Although living most of her life in Beaver Falls, she had resided for the last 14 years with her daughter. A former drugstore clerk in Beaver Falls and New Brighton, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls. Her husband, George G. Klingelhofer, died in 1918. [sic] She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Thelma Jean) Appel, with whom she resided; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Hildebrand, Beaver Falls; one brother, Roy A. Carothers, Prescott, Ariz.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of Pastor Harold A. Appel, of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Meyersdale. Funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 2, with the Rev. James A. Gahagan, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Beaver Falls, officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Township.
