She was born July 1, 1913 in Braddock, daughter of the late Murray and Blanche (Fisher) Cook. Prior to her retirement Pauline was employed by the Gulf Oil Co. of Pittsburgh. Pauline and her husband who preceded her in death Dr. Fred C. Klingensmith, lived in Jeannette most of their lives and retired in Somerset. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by four sisters, Ruth Cook, Sarah Byers, Mary Johnson and Loretta "Ted" Hoffman and a brother, William Cook. She is survived by a sister, Eva Copeland of Jeannette, two nieces, Pauline Cottrell of Greensburg and Ruth Smith of Lockhaven, two nephews, Rodger Cook of Lockhaven and Gary Cook of Delaware Water Gap, Pa., a sister-in-law Mary Jane Cook of Lockhaven and several great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd Street, Jeannette, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dale W. Roddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Township. Daily American, April 25, 2002 [K0768]
