Klink, 91, of Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord June 16, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Nov. 25, 1906, in Garrett County, Md. A daughter of the late Howard and Ann Jermima (Stevanus) Miller. Also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde V. Klink, who died June 29, 1955; five brothers: Clemon, Howard "Bud," Ralph, Ellis, and Ernest; two sisters: Orpha, and Martha Roberts; one stepbrother; three stepsisters, and stepfather, Albert Kemp. Survived by four children: Carl E. "Fuzz" Klink and his wife Lottie; Fay V. Klink and his wife Barbara; Alice Ann, wife of Perry Yoder, all of Meyersdale; Evelyn, wife of D. Hubert Wright, Salisbury, and a niece who lived with the family, Mona (Roberts), wife of Jim Lehman, Gray, Pa. One sister: Verda Matovick, North Jackson, Ohio. Also 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She faithfully attended the Garrett United Methodist Church and also was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ. She and her husband, with the help of the family, operated Klink's school buses, which provided transportation for the Meyersdale Area Schools for 29 years. Friends will be received from 7-9 today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Garrett United Methodist Church, with pastor Craig Lyman and Pastor David Klink officiating. Interment, St. Paul United Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Garrett United Methodist Church or the St. Paul United Church of Christ Memorial Fund. Daily American, June 17, 1988 [K0780]
