    Eugene D. Klink, 84, Garrett, died May 14, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
  Born March 8, 1923, in Garrett. A son of the late Daniel and Alice (Bockes) Klink. Also
  preced- ed in death by his wife, the former Bertha M. ÒBertieÓ Miller; brothers and
  sisters, Homer, Paul, Clyde, Ralph, Hazel Blubaugh, Pearl Christner, Grace Schradel,
  Mildred Beal and Margaret Forrest. Survived by two chil- dren, Gary E. Klink, and his
  wife, Mary, Garrett; and Sharen K., wife of Randy Johnson, Garrett; four grand- children,
  Jeanne Johnson, Wendy Johnson, Crystal Engle, and Becky Klink; and two
  great-grandchildren, Trina Sanner and Colin Engle. A brother of Miriam Burkholder,
  Meyersdale. Gene is a veteran of the U.S. Army World War II, and he was a retired truck
  driver. A lifetime member of American Legion Post 459, Salisbury. A member of VFW Post
  8826, Salisbury, and BPOE Lodge 1951 in Meyersdale. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where a service will be
  conducted 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. David Fetter officiating. Interment St. Paul's
  (Wilhelm) Cemetery. Military honors accorded by American Legion Post 459 Salisbury.
