Klink, 68, Salisbury, formerly of Meyersdale, passed away April 27, 2001, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 31, 1933 in (Summit Township) Garrett, a son of the late Clyde V. and Elsie A (Miller) Klink. Survived by his wife, the former Barbara L. Collins, and four children: Ronald P. Klink and his wife, Linda, Murrysville; Joanne Miller, Somerset; Debra, wife of Kenley Englefield, Edwardsburg, Mich.; and Michael V. Klink, Salisbury; also 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother of Carl E. Klink, and his wife, Lottie, Meyersdale; Evelyn, wife of D. Hubert Wright, Salisbury; and Alice Ann, wife of Perry L. Yoder, Meyersdale. Mr. and Mrs. Klink owned and operated Klink School Bus & Charter Service for 33 years, until retiring on July 1, 1998. Member of the Garrett United Methodist Church for 35 years. Veteran U.S. Army. Past member of the Pennsylvania School Bus Association. Received the Governor's Highway Safety Award in 1992 for the Kindergarten School Bus Safety Program that was a prototype adopted throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Friends were received Sunday and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Garrett United Methodist Church with the Rev. Samuel Weible officiating. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Garrett United Methodist Church. Daily American, April 30, 2001 [K0781]
