Born April 13, 1923 in Somerset County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Ida Foy Klink. He was the husband of Sarah C. Schrock Klink. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the US Navy. He had been employed as a gas station attendant with the former Mills Gas Station of Westminster prior to its change to Texaco. Surviving in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Judith K. Klink of New Bern, NC; two sisters: Mary Kamp of Grantsville and Kathryn Remley of Harrisonburg, VA; two brothers: Oscar Klink of Garrett and Paul Klink of Meyersdale and one grandson, Roger Hawkins of New Bern, NC. Graveside services will be held today (July 8) at 11:30 a.m. at Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Stahl. New Republic, July 8, 1993 [K0788]
