Born Aug. 13, 1930 in Meyersdale. Son of John Homer and Tracy Loretta (Housel) Klink. Preceded in death by parents, granddaughters Mary Ann and Lee Ann Klink, brothers, Elwood and Glenn Klink, and sisters, Jean Kershner and Nina Jolene Klink. Survived by wife, the former Lois Faye Custer to whom he was married 53 years, and children: Daniel R. Klink of Martinsburg, W.Va.; Carey A. Klink, Berlin; Miss Kathleen A. Klink, Somerset; Glenn D. Klink, married to the former Darlene Mahler of Friedens, and Mrs. Daniel T. (Amy J.) Birkhimer of Shanksville. Grandchildren: Christopher, Jamie, and Jessica Klink, Kayleigh, and Joshua Campbell, and two step-grandchildren, Dana and Lindsay Birkhimer. Brother of Mrs. Robert (Hilda) Snyder of Chambersburg, Mrs. Hamilton (June) Cloud of Pasco, Wash., and Ray Clink of Sandusky, Ohio. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Grocery manager for the former Somerset Foodlane with 30 years service retiring in 1992, and was employed at BiLo in Somerset until Nov. 2001. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.
