Klonicke, 61, of East Main St., Somerset, died Jan. 17, 1985, at Altoona VA Hospital. Born May 21, 1923, in Cairnbrook, son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Gloec) Klonicke. Preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers. Survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Dorthuella Snyder; and five children: Ms. Francine of Somerset; Timothy of Plank Road; Mrs. Kenneth (Peggy) Landis, Berlin; Mrs. Harold (Trina) Henry, Rockwood RD 2; and Cynthia, at home; also four grandchildren. Brother of: John of Wisconsin; Edward of Cairnbrook; and Julius of Windber. A World War II veteran, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Member of VFW, Somerset, and American Legion, Central City. A coal worker by occupation. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Dale A. Lyzbicki officiating. Interment, McGregor Cemetery, Cairnbrook. Daily American, January 19, 1985 [K0807]
