    KLOSE
    
    Lester A. Klose, 96, of Berlin, died April 17, 1998, at Meadow View
  Nursing Center.  Born April 15, 1902, in Pittsburgh, son of Julius and
  Pauline (Bissell) Klose.  Preceded in death by parents; his wife of 65
  years, the former Mary C. Grier; two sisters and four brothers. 
  Survived by a son, Dr. Paul L. Klose, married to the former Marian
  Landis of Berlin; grandsons, Ben and Stanley Scheller, four
  great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.  A former
  merchant and resident of Brookline.  Member of Meyersdale Lodge 554,
  F. and A.M.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at
  2 p.m. Monday.  Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.  Interment, Berlin
  IOOF Cemetery.  Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Berlin Brethren Church.
