Elwood (Budder) Klotz, 69, of Star Route, died Thursday, April 10, 1986, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. He was born Sept. 13, 1916 in Grantsville, Md., a son of the late Daniel Klotz and Sadie (Beitzel) Klotz. He was a retired parts manager for the Casselman Motor Company in Grantsville, Md. He served as a corporal in the Army in World War II and was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Long Stretch; Camp 41, Woodmen of the World, Grantsville, Md. and American Legion Post 214, Grantsville, Md. He is survived by his widow, the former Laura Turner; one son, William Klotz, Bel Air, Cumberland, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Sally Williams, Swanton, Md.; one brother, Frank Klotz, and two sisters, Mrs. Iva Stanton and Mrs. Ruth Newman, all of Grantsville; and one granddaughter. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Powell Hall. Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery.
