   (Elsie) Theresa (Alwine) Knapp, 70, St. Stephens, S.C., formerly of Boswell, died Jan.
  16, 2006. Born Sept. 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Emil H. and Vivian M. (McCoy)
  Alwine. Also preceded in death by husband, Ray and infant brother. Survived by children,
  Georgianna Conte, Monroe, Mich. and Michael Golubic, Las Vegas, Nev.; grandson, Peter
  Joseph "PJ" Conte, Monroe, Mich.; brothers and sisters, Donna Ragland, Somerset; David
  Alwine, Somerset; Linda, married to Dave Johnson, Somerset and Charles Alwine, married to
  the former Barbara Mishler, Woodbridge, Va. Also survived by several nieces, nephews;
  great-nieces and nephews. Theresa was known for her breeding, raising, grooming and
  showing of Schnauzers and her seam-stress abilities. At her request, there will be no
  viewing. Family will hold a private memorial service Feb. 25. Donations in Theresa's name
  may be sent to Somerset County Humane Society, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501.
