Knecht, 75, of West Salisbury, died Aug. 18, 1987, at home. Born Oct. 16, 1911, in Elk Lick Township, daughter of the late Burman B. and Jane (Campbell) Harding. Also preceded in death by five sisters. Survived by her husband, Lee J. Knecht; one son, Richard E. Knecht of Salisbury; two brothers, William Harding, Pittsburgh; and Bernard Harding of Manheim, Pa. Member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of West Salisbury. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with the Rev.
