    KNECHT
    
    Catherine Knecht, 81, Toronto, Ohio, formerly of Windber, died
  April 4, 2003, in Follansbee, W.Va.  Born Dec. 6, 1921 in Miller Run,
  daughter of the late John and Anna (Stasko) Casper.  Also preceded in
  death by husband Steve; brother, Andrew and sisters, Mary Tvardzik,
  Ann Salonish, Margaret Gulakowski, Sue Conlin, Verna Salonish,
  Elizabeth Mareino and Helen Emerich.  Survived by these children:
  Thomas, married to the former Marsha Custer, Stoystown, Catherine,
  wife of Bruce Pertko, Toronto, Ohio, Carolyn, wife of Ronald Coward,
  Ladson, S.C. and Steven married to the former Tina Parella, Tampa.
  Also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Catherine was
  the last member of her immediate family.  She was a member of St.
  Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction, Ohio.  The family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek Funeral, Home
  Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.  Funeral
  Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann
  Seton Catholic Church, Windber.  The Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek,
  V.F. pastor.  Those who wish may make contributions to St. Francis
  School 601 Loretto Ave., Toronto, Ohio 43964 in memory of Mrs. Knecht.
