Knepper, 72 of Meyersdale, died August 9, 2006 at Meadowview Nursing Center. Born June 22, 1934 in Meyersdale. A son of the late Edward and Miriam (Hillegas) Knepper. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth R. "Betty" (Harding) Knepper; and two children: Bruce C. Knepper Jr., and his wife Bonnie, Meyersdale; and Gloria Jean, wife of Bob Miller, Meyersdale. Five grandchildren: Ami wife of Steven Price, Jason Aldinger and his wife Jamie, Erin wife of Matt Baker, Tess Miller, and Andrew Miller; 4 great grandchildren, also 2 sisters: Anna Ruth Thomas and Bernice Dunfee. Bruce was an active member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. A former owner of the Wm. B. Anderson Auto Parts in Meyersdale, and a 40 year member of the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Dept. He loved hunting and fishing. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Services were conducted 11:00 AM Saturday at the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. David A. Klink, The Rev. Pete Kaltenbaugh, and the Rev. Eric Shaulis officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Meyersdale Vol. Fire Dept. or the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren Kids Klub. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale.
