   "Doc" Knepper, Dies In Hosp.
  
    Francis (Doc) C. Knepper, 83, Washington and Lee Apartments,
  Cumberland, well known pharmacist, died Sunday at Sacred Heart
  Hospital, where he had been admitted Saturday.  He had been in
  failing health for the past three years.
    He was born in Berlin, July 29, 1893, a son of the late Frank B.
  and Jane (Diveley) Knepper.
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Parker) Knepper;
  one daughter, Mrs. Getty J. Rose, Potomac Park, Md.; one sister, Mrs.
  Frank Swanson, Berlin; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    A funeral service was conducted Wednesday at the George Funeral
  Home with Rev. Richard E. Manning officiating.  Interment in
  Hillcrest Burial Park.
