Knepper, 79, of Lincoln Street, Somerset, died Feb. 16, 1994, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 29, 1914, in Jefferson Township. Son of the late Edmund B. and Sadie (Speicher) Knepper. Preceded in death by sisters, Naomi, Evelyn and Margaret, and a brother, Forrest. Survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Geraldine Ritenour; a son, Terry, married to the former Pam Bishop of Somerset RD 3; grandsons, Terry Jr. and Taylor; a sister, Mary Louise Stahl of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and a brother, Elwood of Craffon. Member and deacon of Somerset Church of the Brethren. Retired farmer. Former employee of A.D. Graham Co. and Somerset Farm Bureau. Retired custodian of Somerset Area Schools. Former Lincoln Township schoolteacher. Jury commissioner of Somerset County for 12 years and former custodian of the Lions Club Youth Building. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service at the Somerset Church of the Brethren at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Roger Forty officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to the Somerset Church of the Brethren, 313 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
