  KNEPPER
  
  Lula B. Knepper, 79, York RD 4, died Nov. 23, 1983, at Memorial
  Hospital, York.  She was the widow of Harry M. Knepper.  Born in
  Summit Mills Oct. 9, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and
  Catherine (Lindeman) Bender.  She is survived by six sons, James,
  Blaine, Dale, and Harry, all of York; Glenn, Soldatna, Alaska; Lynn,
  Green Bay, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one
  sister, Mary Kainnear, Amberg, Wis.  She was a charter member of the
  Grace Brethren Church, York, where she served as a deaconess and a
  teacher in the Sunday school.  Funeral services Saturday at 1 p.m. at
  the Little Funeral Home, 60 S. Main St., Manchester, the Rev. Kenneth
  Cosgrove and the Rev. Ulysses Gingerich officiating.  Interment,
  Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.
