Knieriem, 80, of White Oak Borough, McKeesport, died Nov. 20, 1981, in McKeesport Hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1901, in Meyersdale, son of the late Henry C. and Pauline (Tilp) Knieriem. He was a retired foreman of Duquesne Light Co. in the meter installation department. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of McKeesport, Dobmas Class of the church, Meyersdale Masonic Lodge No. 554, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Al-o-mon Forest No. 138, the AARP 2294 in White Oak. He is survived by his wife, Mildred (McKee) Knieriem; one son, Paul Dale Knieriem of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Jaycox - Jaworski Funeral Home, 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. Services were held in the chapel funeral home with the Rev. Dr. William R. Wilson.
