Beside his wife he is survived by the following children: Mrs. G. W. Bradour, Mrs. C. H. Evans and J. P. Knieriem of Cumberland; Mrs. Levi Witt of Roanoke, Va.; Mrs. Jas. Harper of Pittsburg; Mrs. Herbert Boger of Meyersdale; and Lewis Knieriem at home. Meyersdale Commercial, Mar. 9, 1916 --- An aged and respected citizen of Wellersburg, died at his home in that place Tuesday of last week and was buried the following Friday. He was aged 79 years, 10 months and 15 days. Mr. Knieriem was born in Germany, coming to this country when he was 16 years of age. In 1861 he was united in marriage to Miss Rebecca Emerick. Besides the wife, the following children survive: Mrs. William Bradour of Cumberland, Mrs. Levi Witt, Roanoke, Va.; Mrs. Chas. Evans, Cumberland; Mrs. Jas. Harper, Pittsburg; Mrs. Herbert Boger of Meyersdale; John Knieriem, Cumberland and Louis Knieriem at home. The deceased for 47 years was a member of the Odd Fellows which order had charge of the funeral services which were held on Friday in the Reformed Church and was very largely attended. Interment was made in Cook Cemetery. Henry Knieriem, of New York City and Henry Rinker, of New Jersey, nephews of the deceased attended the funeral. Meyersdale Commercial, Mar. 16, 1916 --- The funeral of Peter Knieriem who died at his home last Tuesday morning took place Friday afternoon with service in the Reformed Church by Rev. Koske. Burial was made in the Cook Cemetery. Pallbearers, being I. O. O. F. members were Chas. Mont, Milton Snyder, William Steele, Henry Crump, James Buckley and John Miller all of Mt. Savage, the flower bearers were James Rolfe and L. Winebenners of Mt. Savage and Edward Wilhelm of this place. Meyersdale Commercial, Mar. 16, 1916
