Knight, 72, of Confluence, died Dec. 21, 1997, at her home. She was born June 27, 1925, in Scullton, a daughter of the late Grant and Hazel (King) Older. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Jr.; three brothers, Fay, Lee Ray, and Dwight L. Older, and a sister, Dortha Sands. Survived by two daughters, Linda Lytle of Friendsvilie, Md, and Ruth Ann Hyatt of Confluence; a son, Doug, of Confluence. Four grandchildren: Greg, Ed, and Jenny Lytle, all of Friendsville, and Stefanie Hyatt of Confluence; three great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Eddie and Caleb Lytle; two sisters, Martha Knight of Somerset and Mildred Hobernicht of Ursina, and two brothers, Leon and Wilbur Ohler, both of Scullton. Member of the Confluence Christian Church, the Ursina American Legion Auxiliary and Woodmen of the World Lodge 45. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Evert Millard and the Rev. Weldon Peary officiating. Interment, Addison Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Confluence Christian Church.
