  MARY ELLEN KNIPPENBERG
  
    Mary Ellen Knippenberg, 2621 Central Avenue, Fort Myers, Fla., died
  April 1, 1988.
    Born April 21, 1917, in Rockwood, she was the daughter of the late
  Homer and Katie (Snyder) Bowman.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Knippenberg, on
  June 8, 1937.
    She was a 1936 graduate of Allegany High School.
    Survivors include one son, Donald Knippenberg, Hartvllle, Ohio; two
  sisters, Sara Bailey, Baltimore, Md.; and Dorothy Moorehead, Keyser,
  W. Va.; and one brother, Howard Bowman, Lock Haven, and two
  grandchildren.
    Services were held in Lehigh Memorial Gardens, Fla.
