   Alvin L. Knopsnyder, 68, Rockwood, died July 17, 2006 at Somerset Hospital. Born Oct.
  17, 1937 in Rockwood, son of Ruben and Violet (Knopsnyder) Knopsnyder of Markleton. Also
  survived by wife, the former Mary Pletcher; son, Jeff Knopsnyder, Rockwood;
  grandchildren; Heather McKenzie; Branden and Jared Knopsnyder; Nathan Church and Cheyanne
  Howe; great-grandchildren; Genesis Knopsnyder and Jalisha McKenzie. Brother of Mrs. Robert
  (Leona) Durst, Friedens; and Mrs. Charley (Doris) Younkin, Fort Hill. Member of FOE Arie
  1801 and employed by PennDot. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with
  Pastor Duane Riddel officiating. Interment in Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
