  KNOPSNYDER
  
  Blaine A. Knopsnyder, 90, of Rockwood, died March 17, 2002, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Oct. 20, 1911, in Markleton, the son
  of the late George and Hatti (Nickle) Knopsnyder.  Also preceded in
  death by his wife, Grace (Johnson) Knopsnyder; sisters, Fern Sterner,
  Katherine Spangler, Audrey Spangler and Blanche Baker; and brothers
  Floyd, Lester and Glenn Knopsnyder.  Survived by children: Cleo
  Phillippi of Somerset, Geraldine Snyder of Rockwood and Nancy Maust
  of Somerset; grandchildren: Norma Hostetler, Lester Snyder, Ronald
  Knopsnyder, Carol Raygor, Gerald Maust, Bryan Maust, Susan Kurtz and
  Vicky Close; 10 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Ruben W. Knopsnyder of
  Markleton.  Retired dragline operator for Sanner Brothers.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday with Pastor Thomas Kroll officiating.  Interment in Mt. Zion
  Cemetery.
