  CLARA E. KNOPSNYDER 
  
    Clara Knopsnyder, 70, of Garrett RD 1, died July 1, 1983 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born in Garrett County, Maryland, February 16, 1913, the
  daughter of the late Ernest Merrbach and Hazel (Weimer) Merrbach.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Knopsnyder.  She
  is survived by four sons, James R. Knopsnyder, Salisbury; Robert K.
  Knopsnyder, Garrett RD 1; David H. Knopsnyder and Wayne W.
  Knopsnyder, both of Salisbury RD 1; seven daughters, Mrs. Marie E.
  Meyers, Hyndman; Mrs. Patricia A. Knopsnyder, Markleton; Mrs. Nancy
  E. Albright, Mrs. Sandra G. Burley, Mrs. Carol I. Nicholson, Mrs.
  Joyce E. Housel, all of Meyersdale; Mrs. Frances V. Shaffer, Garrett;
  a sister, Mrs. Leota Moon, Salisbury; a brother, Norman Merrbach,
  Houston, Texas; 49 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Thomas Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m.
  with the Rev. Ray Davis officiating.  Interment will be in Mount Zion
  Cemetery, Markleton.
