Knopsnyder, 63, Markleton RD 1, died Feb. 28, 1985, in the Cumberland Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Somerset County, a daughter of William and Frances (Loman) Murray. Survived by her husband, Elmer Knopsnyder of Markleton RD 1; by three sons: Alfred and Ross, both of Markleton RD 1; and Leroy of Rockwood; by one daughter, Mrs. Delores Ringlet of Markleton RD 1; two brothers: George Murray of Florida and Frank Murray of Lewistown, Pa.; four sisters: Mrs. Grace Fabis of Uniontown; Mrs. Edna Burrs of Swanton, Ohio; Mrs. Catherine Lynn of Latrobe; and Mrs. Laura Whitt of Bluefield, W.Va.; also, nine grandchildren. Her death terminates a marriage union of 46 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She attended the Rockwood Christian Missionary Alliance Church for many years. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Saturday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until 12:30 p.m. on Sunday when the remains will be removed to the Markleton Church of God for services at 1:30 p.m. with her pastors, the Rev. David Bishop, the Rev. Walter Boring and the Rev. Evelyn Stillwagon, officiating. Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Markleton. There will be no viewing in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Robert H. Halverson supervising. Daily American, March 2, 1985 [K0910]
