  HATTIE KNOPSNYDER
  
    Hattie Knopsnyder, 94, Rockwood RD 2, died March 12, 1981, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born May 16, 1886, in Westmoreland County, a daughter of
  Oliver and Ellen (Bell) Nickel.
    She is survived by three sons, Blaine and Floyd, both of Rockwood;
  and Ruben, Markleton RD 1; three daughters, Ferne Sterner, Katherine
  Spangler and Audrey Spangler, all of Rockwood RD 2; one sister,
  Luella Nickel, Youngstown; 26 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren;
  and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1958, also by
  two sons and one daughter.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Warren
  MacEachren officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
