  Melda E. Knopsnyder, 81, of Somerset, formerly of Summit Mills,
  passed on April 16, 2001 at home.  Born Sept. 4, 1919 in Black
  Township.  Daughter of the late Charles E. and Agnes (Phillippi)
  Moore.  Preceded in death by husband Robert Knopsnyder, sons Oran and
  Barry Knopsnyder, sister Martha Moore and brothers, John, Eugene, and
  Dale Moore.  Survived by these children: Robert, married to Carol of
  Northridge, Ohio; Jack of Garrett; Kenneth, married to Ardith of
  Markleton; Wally married to Shirlene of Manns Choice; Terry married
  to Linda of Stoystown; Jason of Garrett and Mildred, married to
  William Cox of Somerset.  Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 19
  great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  Sister of Idella
  Thompson of Markleton, Cleda Taubin of Harrisonburg, Va., Delores
  Moore of Meyersdale, Esther Ohler of Berlin, Orrie Moore of Markleton
  and brother Charles Moore of Garrett.  She was a member of Grace
  Brethren Church of Meyersdale.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Randy Haulk
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Rockwood.  Memorial
  contributions may be sent to Grace Brethren Church at 112 Beachley
  St., Meyersdale, Pa. 15552.
