  KNOTTER
  
  Edward A. Knotter, 63, of Rossiter, died April 1, 1985, in Indiana,
  Pa.  Born March 23, 1922, in Maple Summit, a son of the late Nicholas
  A. and Alverta (Thorpe) Knotter.  Survived by two brothers: Leroy of
  Confluence; and Richard of Galax, Va.; four sisters: Sarah J. Younkin
  of Ursina; Esther R. Colflesh, Berlin; Florence Geyer of Confluence;
  and Wilma Irwin of Phoenix, Ariz.  Preceded in death by two brothers
  and one sister.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Wednesday at
  the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services will be
  held Thursday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Raymond Schermerhorn
  officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
