Born May 10, 1913, in Union Mills, Ind., a daughter of Arden and Pearl (Fulton) Hay. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John Jacob Knotter, who died Dec. 16, 1981; brother, Kenneth Hay and sister, Glada Ogren. Survived by special friends, Paul and Sandra Tressler, Connellsville and Connie Mitchell-Inks, Somerset. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law. Was a graduate of the Ball State Teachers College in Muncy, Ind. Member of First Christian Church. Also Trinity Chapter 128 OES. She also volunteered for 20 years at Somerset Hospital. Worked as a sales clerk for the J.C. Penny Co. Inc. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. Daniel F.
