  KNOTTS
  
  David Eugene Knotts, 50, of Meyersdale RD 4 died April 13, 1993, in
  Memorial Hospital Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 24, 1942, in Dawson, Md.
  a son of Jacob Woodrow and Virginia Ruth (Stemple) Knotts, Meyersdale
  RD 4.  Preceded in death by a brother, Donald L. Knotts.  Survived by
  these children: David Eugene Knotts Jr., Meyersdale; Tammy A. Hoover,
  Meyersdale RD 4, and Brenda L. Knotts, Meyersdale RD 1.  Surviving
  brothers and sisters are Richard A. of Frostburg, Md.; Alfred R. of
  Berlin; Jacob W. Jr., of Boonsboro, Md., and Alma R. Schwanke,
  Abingdon, Md.  Survived by two grandchildren and a special friend,
  Sharon L. Mackereth, Meyersdale RD 4.  He was a veteran of the U.S.
  Navy.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted
  at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Dr. Melvin E. Vance officiating.  Interment,
  Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
