  KNOTTS
  
  Donald L. Knotts, 53, Meyersdale RD 4, died July 5, 1990, at
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital.  Born Aug. 24, 1936, at St. George,
  W.Va., son of J. Woodrow and Virginia R. (Stemple) Knotts, Meyersdale
  RD 4.  Also survived by wife, Elsie J. (Leydig) Knotts; four sons:
  Donald L. Jr., and Mark A., both of Hyndman RD 1, and Michael S. and
  Jeffrey L., both at home; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara J. Moser,
  Philadelphia, and Mrs. Darlene K. Blubaugh, Meyersdale; 4
  grandchildren; 4 brothers - Richard, Frostburg, Md.; Alfred, Berlin;
  David, Meyersdale RD 4, and Jacob, Boonsboro, Md., and one sister,
  Mrs. Alma Schwenkee, Baltimore, Md.  He was a farmer and a stationary
  engineer in the boiler department at the Cumberland Memorial
  Hospital.  He served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956-62.  He was
  a member of Glencoe United Church of Christ.  Visitation from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where
  services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. William N. Hay
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
