  ESTHER KNOX
  
    Esther Alberta Knox, 96, of RD 2, Oakland, Md., died Sunday, Feb.
  7, 1988 at her residence.
    She was born Feb. 5, 1892 in Shelbysport, daughter of the late Ami
  and Marion (Glotfelty) Teets.
    She attended the Church of the Brethren.  Her husband, Jonas H.
  Knox, died in 1949.
    Surviving are two sons, Franklin N. Knox and James A. Knox, both of
  Mountain Lake Park, Md.; two daughters, Clara Wiley, Grantsville, Md.;
  and Mils Schrilla Knox, Oakland, Md.; one half-sister, Louisa May,
  Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one
  great-great-grandchild.
    Friends were received in the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, Md.
    Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Loch Lynn
  Evangelical Free Church by the Rev. Russell Hamilton and the Rev.
  Robert Fletcher officiating.
    Interment, Glade Cemetery.
