Knox, 86, Confluence, died Feb. 28, 2005, in Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 17, 1919, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Mahlon and Minnie (Frazee) Knox. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters. He is survived by a daughter Judy Datig, McKeesport; three grandchildren Heather Gaussa, Grace Petrillo, and Brent Argyle, four great-grandchildren and a brother James Merle Knox, Meyersdale, a niece Mae Peck with whom he resided and a family friend Barbara Matthis, Confluence. He retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev.
