  JOHN KNOX
  
    John E. Knox, 68, of North Huntingdon died Thursday, March 17,
  1977.  Born Sept. 28, 1908 in Confluence, he was the son of the late
  Mahlon and Minnie (Umberson).
    He was a member of the Circleville Nazareen Church.
    He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peck) Knox; two sons, Donald
  and Gene both of Warren, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Phillis) Reed
  of Ferndale, Md.; Mrs. John (Shirley) Benford of Rockwood; Mrs. Paul
  (Carol) Runge, Beaver Falls; brothers, Herbert, Merle and Floyd of
  Meyersdale; sisters, Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Trimpey of Buena Vista;
  Mrs. Laura Mintmier of Laudenville, Ohio; 19 grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home,
  Playpike, Circleville, North Huntingdon.  Services were held in the
  Circleville Nazareen Church, Rev. Nevin Crouse officiating. 
  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
