  Clark W. Knupp Sr., 79, Boswell RD 2, died May 2, 1990, at Memorial
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 12, 1911, in Westmoreland County.  Son of
  William G. and Harriet (Campbell) Knupp.  Preceded in death by
  parents, son Clark Jr. and brother Ellsworth.  Survived by wife, the
  former Bertha Rhoads, and sons, Dennis and Jack, both at home. 
  Brother of Harry, Johnstown; Charles, Port Richey, Fla. and Gladys
  Snyder, Somerset.  Member of Waterford Christian Church, Ligonier
  RD.  Retired coal miner and lumberman.  Formerly employed by Beckner
  Lumber Company.  Army Veteran of W W II.  Friends received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Bryan
  Rood.  Interment, Beam Cemetery.
