Knupp, 51, of 11546 Alepat Lane, Orlando, Fla., formerly of Gray, died unexpectedly Sept. 6, 1996, at home. Born Feb. 9, 1945, in Latrobe. Son of Roy and Mary (Ross) Knupp. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by father and stepmother, Mildred (Long) Knupp, both of Gray; wife, the former Helen Rose; stepsister Carolyn Brown, Washington, D.C., and a half-sister, Charlotte Garnik, Harrisburg. Also survived by mother and father-in-law, John and Jean (Bates) Rose, Cody, Wyoming, formerly of Boswell RD 2. 1963 graduate of the former Jenner-Boswell High School. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Former employee of Stern Building Supply, Friedens RD. Observed 25th wedding anniversary Feb. 13, 1996. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by funeral service and committal at the Beam Cemetery near Gray, the Rev.
