  KNUPP
  
  John W. Knupp, 69, of Somerset RD 1, died March 16, 1978, at Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.  He was born May 7, 1908, in Bakersville, son of
  the late James and Ida (Miller) Knupp.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  Goldie, in 1972; a son; and a sister.  Survived by three children:
  Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Kimmens of Hudson, Mass.; Dale of Somerset; Jon
  of Somerset RD 4; 7 grandchildren.  Brother of: Ray, Somerset RD 6,
  and Calvin, Somerset RD 4.  Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church,
  Bakersville.  Friends are being received at the Wilbur D Miller
  Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 12:30
  p.m., the Rev. Walter Startzel officiating.  Interment, Bakersville
  Cemetery.
