  Marian Elizabeth Knupp, 88, of West Bakersville-Edie Road, Somerset,
  died May 7, 1998, at Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born June 5, 1909 in
  Somerset Township.  Daughter of the late Nelson Albert and Annie Mae
  (Gardner) Barclay.  Also preceded in death by husband, Charles Ray
  Knupp, who died Oct. 13, 1985; brother, George W. Barclay, and
  sister, Carrie V. Miller.  Survived by these children: Jay W. Knupp,
  married to the former Audrey Lantzy, of Bruner Avenue, Somerset
  (Bakersville); Robert G. Knupp, married to the former Nadine Ankney,
  West Bakersville-Edie Road, Somerset; 7 grandchildren and 11
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Earl W. Barclay, Somerset.  Member of
  Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville.  Friends received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday,
  with the Rev. Edward W. Ebersole officiating.  Interment, Bakersville
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church,
  30931 Glades Pike, Somerset, or Somerset, "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N.
  Center Ave., Suite 111, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
