    Mildred F. (Long) Knupp, 84, Gray, died April 28, 2008, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug.
  25, 1923, in Westmoreland County, the daughter of Joshua N. Long Sr. and Estelle E.
  (Weaver) Long-McLean. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 48 years, Roy L., March
  28, 2000; sister, Nellie G. Beam; half brother, Ford E. McLean; and stepson, Curtis E.
  Knupp, Sept. 9, 1996. Survived by daughter, Carolyn (Long) Brown, at home; grandchildren,
  E. Guy Brown and wife, Janet, Waldorf, Md.; Shawn R. Brown and wife, Nabila, Somerset; and
  Angela L. (Brown) and husband, Michael Fauth, Rochester, N.Y.; five great-grandchildren;
  brother, Joshua N. Long Jr.; and stepsisters, Bertha Queer and Irene Hutchinson. Member
  of Sipesville Church of the Brethren. Retired employee of the former Dorfman and Hoffman
  Garment Factory, Boswell. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home & Cremation Services, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Friday. The Rev. Charles B. Statler officiating. Interment, Ligonier Valley
  Cemetery, Ligonier. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sipesville Church of
  the Brethren, P.O. Box 207, Sipesville, PA 15561.
