  KOBA
  
  Violet Marie Koba, 56, Acosta, died July 13, 1987, in Jenner
  Township.  Born April 16, 1931, in Jenner Township, daughter of the
  late George A. and Neva V. (Blair) Strickler, Acosta.  Preceded in
  death by father and one son, Carey.  She is survived by these
  children: Glen Kimmel, Randall Koba, Patricia Joyner, all of Boswell;
  Terrance, and Virginia Matkoskey, both of Acosta; six grandchildren;
  one great-grandchild.  Sister of George Strickler, Jr., Pittsburgh;
  and Robert Strickler, Nora Springs, Iowa.  Employee of Gilmour
  Manufacturing Company.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew's
  Lutheran Church, Boswell, Pastor Patricia Ramsay officiating. 
  Interment, Beam's Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church
  from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
